Over the past 5 weeks, I have emailed and tweeted a huge number of photos out to the world that show aspects of my environment and life working and living in NT. The most common remarks relate to concerns about air quality. This was something that I too had concerns about before I arrived. Having visited Hong Kong previously, where my experiences on HK island of bus and traffic exhaust combined with crowds and smells of street food had created a heady and sometimes suffocating aroma, I hoped that living away from the city centre might alleviate the impact on me. Thankfully, although I live in the centre of a wee town, at this time of year blue skies are the norm, the thermostat has yet to dip below 27 during the day and usually peaks mid afternoon at 32.
